Dr. Wirth has a Master's Degree in Physiology and Cell Biology, a Doctor of Medicine degree from Albany Medical College, residency in general surgery, and has completed his training in Plastic Surgery at the University of California - Irvine.

Dr. Wirth specializes in aesthetic surgery with emphasis upon facial and neck surgery: face lifts, brow lifts, eyelid surgery and neck lifts. He also does body contouring such as elective breast surgery (breast augmentation), tummy tucks (abdominoplasty) and liposuction.

Reconstructive surgery also includes the care of patients with cancer, especially breast reconstruction, surgery for congenital anomalies and for trauma.

Dr. Wirth is devoted to quality skin care. To that end he is available to provide various non-surgical skin treatments, including injections for facial enhancement and rejuvenation, and treatments to enhance the health and appearance of your skin.

He has published articles in basic science journals, general surgery journals and in both national and international journals of plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Wirth is Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery Institute at the University of California - Irvine Medical School.
