Annie Do, MD is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Assistant Professor within the Department of Plastic Surgery at UCI. Dr. Do maintains a comprehensive practice, specializing in craniofacial differences (such as cleft lip/palate and craniosynostosis), pediatric plastic surgery, trauma and oncologic reconstruction, and gender-affirmation surgery, along with surgical and non-surgical aesthetic treatments.

A native resident of California, Dr. Do double majored in Business Economics and Psychology at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Following graduation, she pursued a career in clinical research monitoring various phased clinical trials for medical device and contract research organizations.

Dr. Do completed her medical degree at Creighton University School of Medicine. She then went on to train with the highly esteemed Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco.

Following completion of her 7-year integrated plastic surgery residency at UCSF, she completed her fellowship focusing on Cleft and Craniofacial Surgery at the University of California, Irvine and Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC).


Committed to delivering compassionate, individualized care, Dr. Do treats each patient’s unique case with a combination of technical excellence and aesthetic sensitivity and balance—whether restoring form and function or enhancing appearance. In reconstruction, she works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.

In addition to her clinical duties, Dr. Do has a special interest in global surgical outreach helping to expand access to craniofacial care and develop safe and sustainable reconstructive surgery in low and middle-income countries. Outside of work, Dr. Do enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and baking.
